Celebrate the Differences

why cant pple just accept that some pple are just different or want to be different? y must force pple to do things they dont want or....outcast them if they do something different?

majority wins in a certain way but majority does not equal the right way to go....if most of the pple in the world smokes, that doesnt mean that it is the right thing to do.

i know this doesnt apply to certain scenarios but in other cases, really, you cant force pple to do things they dont want to or they just dont feel like doing just because everyone is doing it.

if it doesnt hurt you or affect you seriously, y cant let some pple be and just...celebrate the differences?

I like this post and I can't agree more. Most people like to mistake "common" with "normal". What is common is not always normal.

However, it is indeed grounds for people to judge, and unfortunately, orthodox and organised groups can pass on judgments which are regarded as rules, and hence discrimination is easily bred.

If we were all just carbon copies of each other, then the world would be a black and white place. Thank God for the many shades of grey.

It is always easier to judge than to empathise and accept. It takes a lot of courage and sensibility to do the latter. I am happy and hopeful that you will practise God's real teachings, which is to love and accept, not only others, but thyself.
