tradition or superstition or just...for my own good??

got quite a few things to do for my wedding...as strongly recommended by my relatives..all which they say it is for my own good...better to do then not to do..hmmmmm tradition or superstition...or just ...for my own good?

pre-wedding
1) drink lots of water
2) eat lots of fruits
3) no carbonated drinks
4) no fried food
5) no water after 8pm the day before the wedding

on actual day
6) drink two glasses of water when you wake up
7) remmeber to step on his shoes before you leave the house (so that he will listen to you)
8) make him carry you into the house when you come back from wedding (so that he will listen to you)
9) a younger bro (or boy, if no bro) to open the door for your hubby when he arrives (dont know for?)
10) a younger boy to roll and jump on your couple bed (so that you will have kids soon, zao shen gui zi）
11) mum to comb hair for you (why?)
12) sprinkle nuts and whatever on your couple bed (why?)
13) must take first and last course (for completion? i heard that must eat dessert so that marriage will be tian tian mi mi)

and there are more to come!! oh man...

7)remember to step on his shoes before you leave the house (so that he will listen to you)... Let me take out my feet b4 u do that....or better i bring extra pair for u to step on...or better we let God step our shoes so that we will listen and obey to Him always

8)make him carry you into the house when you come back from wedding (so that he will listen to you)...this reminds me of a song....IF HE CARRYS THE WEIGHT OF THE WORLD UPON HIS SHOULDER...I KNOW MY SISTER THAT HE WILL CARRY YOU....since Jesus is carrying both of us liao....there is no need for me to carry u liao right?

12) sprinkle nuts and whatever on your couple bed (why?)....?? tell her ur current bed is the couple bed k? u can sprinkle nuts, peanuts, soya beans, french peas, kacang putih on it after we finishing with fetching the bride.

13) must take first and last course (for completion? i heard that must eat dessert so that marriage will be tian tian mi mi)... actually i am thinking of eating the whole course...can my best man make sure leftover food is brought to my room? if best man not reading this....maid of honor pls take note
