Watched the debut of this four part miniseries last night and it seems quite interesting! Somehow it is like a spin-off from the National Treasure movie and is a cross between that movie, Indiana Jones and the Da Vinci Code. Anyway, the miniseries is based on the 2005 novel The Last Templar by Raymond Khoury and was aired in the U.S. on January 25 and 26, 2009, starring Mira Sorvino and Scott Foley. The Last Templar is Khoury's debut work and it was on the New York Times bestseller list for 22 months.

Think the show had a good start and some parts were quite funny. There was this part where the lead actress got onto the horse and started chasing the bad guys which I thought was like so cool but pretty unrealistic. But the part I remembered most was when she came back requesting that the male lead, the FBI agent, Reilly, replace her Manolo Blahnik shoes which was spoilt during the chase and he was like "Manolo who?", his sidekick then replied:

"If you dont know it, you cant afford it."

Muahahahahaa...
