Dont waste your time on jealousy or envy. Sometimes you are ahead, sometimes you are behind but in the end, you are only with yourself. This is so true, isn't it? I find myself always being caught up in envy and jealousy that I forgot to take some time to sit back and realised how fortunate I am in many ways. Yah, life is not perfect, no one is perfect. There are some things you win, some things you lose, but why compare? Does it make you feel better? When you are "winning" maybe so, but what if you are "losing", doesnt it make you feel worse?

God made us all unique and different. We all have our own special qualities and gifts that we should make full use of and not dwell on what qualities or gifts that we don't have. You are what you are and what you are, is special. If everyone is the same, won't life be boring? We all have a purpose in this life and we are brought to this world with a purpose. That is why we have certian qualities and gifts to fulfil this purpose. Things happen for a reason and we are here for a reason. You might say that some people are ultra blessed with a good life, beautiful face or flawless skin. However you must know as no one or no life is perfect, there are some things that you do not see. These people may have their own sets of problems that probably you do not see upfront but it is there. While you are filled with jealousy or envy for their richness or good life, they, on the other hand is filled with jealousy and envy for your carefree life surrounded by a warm family and wonderful friends.

Some people like to show off that they are better than you. Let them be. Why bother about them? Remember that in the end you are only with yourself and God. If you are unhappy with certain aspects of your life like you feel that you should be slimmer or that you need more money to have a more comfortable life. Do it! Exercise! Work hard! However don't compare to others and sulk that your life is not as good as theirs. Probably they have worked hard to earn it such that they deserve it? If they don't for one reason or another, let them be. Things that are not theirs will be taken away from them if they don't treasure it or make good use of it. You dont judge as God is the only Judge and He has his own plans for each and everyone of us. Let Him do the punishment for those you think has done you injustice. Only he has the right to do that.

Well most of the time it is easier said than done. We are all trying and learning everyday of our lives. However just remember: in the end, you are only with yourself and God.
